Arcane power/mana/magicka/etc should universally be called ‘blue’, since it always is.
Except in this case, it was purple. :p You can’t just call it “blue”, though; that’s too boring for English speakers. You have to use another language. Then it instantly becomes mysterious! Just ask anyone with a tattoo in another language. (My Latin tat doesn’t count :p)

(Which sounds ruder than it is :p )
